AboutThanks for checking out my tunes! My main influences include: Jeff Beck, Paco De Lucia, Bikini Kill, EDM, Mahavishnu, Yes, Zeppelin, Dregs, Police, Al Di Meola, Slade, Chris Warren (Lady Sabre), UFO, Ted Vasil (SC), UK, Brian Eno, Terry Riley, David Bowie and Max Martin (Back Street Boys...). Contact (no spam please): All songs created one note at a time unless indicated otherwise. I try to embrace Fibonacci patterns and Wu Wei. Those are just natural ways to make groovy-fun songs. :-) Vocally I use multiple singers around the world (Elise\Ireland, Ethan\England, Evan Gold\US...), Splice vocal loops and AI vocals. Studio rig: Studio One DAW (v7), JBL Studio BL 308P MkII speakers (of course!), EastWest Opus Sounds, Orb, Music Lab guitars, Spike Stent drums, iZotope Nuetron 4\5, Steinberg Padshop 2 and more.
I enjoy staying up-to-date with AI advancements but limit my use of such tools to about 15% of any song, mainly for automating arpeggio creation and AI vocals. For songs where AI has a significant role, I note this in the details below the track. Quotes"There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at its flood, leads on to fortune". -Shakespeare "Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art." -Andy Warhol "When DAWs arrived that was my dream. I absolutely love DAWs. You dont want things to get in the way of the creation process. You want it to be as easy as it can." -David Gilmour (2024 Rick Beato interview) "There's a bell curve to recording a new song. There's a point where you're going to get diminishing returns on your time and effort. You can spend a lot of time and money trying to get it perfect, but you're not going to get a lot more out of it. The difference between a good recording and a great recording is usually pretty small. It's not like you can spend a few more weeks in the studio and suddenly have a masterpiece. There's a point where you have to say, 'This is good enough.' If you keep going, you're just going to start to lose perspective. You're going to start to nitpick and get bogged down in details that don't really matter. The best way to avoid this is to set a deadline for yourself. Once you have a deadline, you're forced to make decisions and move on. You can't just keep working on a song forever." -Steve Albini "I think music is already there, in the ether. It's just a matter of tapping into it and letting it flow through you. I don't think you create music; you discover it." -Sting These works are licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Contact me if you would like to use any for your project. :-) DisclaimerNowhere on this site is it claimed that the AI singers used are the original artists. They are created in the likeness of various singers. Fun Facts (of all musicians)
